We're seeking individuals to help make a difference in the lives of youth. Unit Service Coordinators work in partnership with two executives to strengthen the delivery of the Scouting program in their assigned areas. 
 
Responsibilities include: provide support to unit and district volunteers; answer questions and provide customer service and leadership to volunteers in two assigned districts; work with district commissioners to plan the monthly commissioner meeting; advise on unit issues; identify potential new district-level volunteers; work with the annual recharter process; work with preparing materials for district volunteer meetings ("Roundtables"); and work with other district sub-committees to promote their functions (including advancement and activities, camping, training and webmasters).
 
Work schedule: 
Hours are arranged between 12 PM and 9 PM, four days a week, with most hours occurring in the evenings when volunteers are available. Occasional weekend hours will be necessary.
 
Qualifications include: 
- General: Must be age 21 or older. Must live in assigned service area. Must have demonstrated time-management, organization, administration, communication and customer service skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred. Must be willing to learn details of the Scouting program. 
- Experience: Some experience as a Scouting volunteer and/or knowledge of Scouting methods is preferred though not required. 
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to drive personal vehicle to and from program sites, and current automobile insurance at levels of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000. 
- For payroll processing, you will need to download the free TimeWorksPlus mobile app and clock in and out to record all time worked.

Compensation: $15 per hour to start. Reimbursement for approved mileage is provided.
